Committee applications are now open!
NUTS has four committees, all focused on specific events. We have the Activity Committee, that organizes several events throughout the year. These activities are mostly focused on the social aspect of the association, which means that they are great opportunities to get to know your fellow students! These activities range from pub crawls to movie night, and from Christmas dinners to paintball.
Next up is our Pub Quiz Committee. They organize the monthly pub quiz, which is held on the first Tuesday of each month. Some pub quizzes have specific themes, whilst other times they are focused on random knowledge, and each month you can win an awesome prize! As part of the Pub Quiz Committee, you are part of one of NUTS’s oldest traditions!
Then there is the Travel Committee, that is in charge of the annual NUTS trip. These trips take place after the last exam period, and previous trips brought us to Manchester, London, Newcastle and Dublin. As part of this committee, you have the chance to explore and evolve your organizational and communicative skills, which will result in one of the best trips of your life!
Last but definitely not least, we have the Intro Committee. They help the board to plan the intro camp for the first-years in September. This is an important way for new students to get to know each other and NUTS. This committee is not just responsible for the organization of the camp, but for, for many, the first impression of the association.
