↓ María Camila Albán – Chair

Hi Nutsies! My name is María Camila (she/her) and I’m excited to be your chair for this academic year!

I’m in my second year of the EL&C bachelor, and even though I find linguistics super interesting, I fear I’m a literature girly. I am passionate about animals (I have two cats and a dog back home) and making music.
My favorite book is The Catcher in the Rye by JD Salinger and my favorite artist, Twenty One Pilots.

Last year I was a general member, but I got inspired to do a board year by seeing how much fun being an active one is, and now I’m thrilled, and I hope that you are too!

↓ Viha Sehgal – Secretary

Hi Nutsies!

My name is Viha, and I’m going to be your secretary for this year! I was born in India but I’ve grown up in Sweden. I moved to the Netherlands for uni and I’m currently in my third year. Like everyone in EL&C I like to read (currently reading Mother Mary Comes To Me by Arundhati Roy, who is one of my favorite authors), I like cats and I love love love meeting people!

I joined NUTS last year as part of the intro committee and I loved it so much that I decided I’d love to try out board! I’m super excited to see how the year progresses and I hope you guys are too <33

↓ Mariëlle Zeiger – Treasurer

Hi Nutsies!

I’m Ellie, you might recognise me from last year as I’m doing my second board year as treasurer. Right now, I’m working on my minor in Theology for the EL&C bachelor. I love reading books, gaming, and I try to stay physically active in the gym. I have a lot of pets, including a cat, tortoises, and my hamster.

I’m so excited for this new year at Nuts and to see what we can achieve as the new board. I love talking to you all, don’t be afraid to say hi if you ever see me at school, and I can’t wait to meet everyone during our activities!

↓ Esmée Odijk – Commissioner of Internal Affairs

Hi Nutsies!!

I’m Esmée and I’m very excited to be your internal this year!
I finished the ELC bachelor last year (with a specialisation in Medieval Literature) and decided to stay here for the Writing, Editing, and Mediating master. Like many of you I like to read (I’m currently into cozy slice-of-life stories and medieval romances, the weirder the better!), but I also love drawing, crocheting, knitting, baking, dancing, watching k-dramas, and spending time with friends and family.

Last year, I was the treasurer of the event committee, which I enjoyed immensely! I also had some friends on the previous board, so seeing how much they enjoyed it really motivated me to do one as well. I’m really really excited to make this a great year with you all!!
