As of 2024, NUTS recognises exceptional contributions and dedication by awarding Honorary Membership. This title is given to members who demonstrate considerable dedication to NUTS during their university years and post-graduation.

We award Honorary Membership to members who contribute significantly to the association’s continuity and goals, either through active participation in any of our committees or by serving on the board of NUTS. Board years are considered as a more significant dedication, and so previous board members are more likely to be granted honorary membership.

Honorary Membership offers several benefits, most notably that the member will never have to pay membership fees, granting the member free entry to NUTS events for life, excluding events that members also pay for, such as the Night of English Literature or Poetry & Music Night. There are no obligations tied to Honorary Membership, but Honorary Members can opt to be part of our mailing list and are always welcome at NUTS events.

You can read the NUTS Code of Conduct for a full explanation of the reward system and how to become an Honorary Member.
